Germany's largest wind plant development company is now looking to extend its activities abroad. Working in co-operation with Lahmeyer International (a 55% subsidiary of the giant RWE group) Winkra Project was recently shortlisted for a contract to carry out a feasibility study in China for the German development agency, KfW, though the contract went to Decon of Bad Homburg in the end. Meantime, Winkra is busy bidding for a project in North Africa.
