Wind energy veteran Vagn Trend Poulsen is leaving his job as sales and marketing director of NEG Micon to run his own company, VTP Holding, which is involved in "investments, trade and service" outside the wind branch, he says. Poulsen was previously the managing director and co-owner of Nordtank Energy Group and was the driving force behind Nordtank's merger with Micon last year. Poulsen joined Nordtank in 1985 and was the company's managing director for over a decade. Poulsen, who leaves NEG Micon from March 1, will remain a consultant to the company and retains his seat on the board. As owner of 5% of NEG Micon, Poulsen is one of the company's major shareholders.
