Vestas begins shipping for Alberta expansion
Vestas says it will begin shipping turbines late this year for the expansion phase of the 63 MW Kettles Hill project near Pincher Creek, Alberta. Thirty V80 1.8 MW turbines will be added to the five that have been operating at the site since March. Vestas will supply and commission the project and provide maintenance and service for five years. The plant is owned by Kettles Hill Wind Energy, a company controlled by Creststreet Kettles Hill “uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç LP of Toronto.
