Energy sources developer and trading company Tomen Corp is proposing a 32.5 MW wind farm for Higashidori village on Shimokita peninsula. Negotiations for the plant are now ongoing with the local electric utility for the Aomori prefecture, Tohoku Electric Power Co. The supplier of the turbines has not been decided, but Tomen says they will probably come from Denmark. Tomen has previously used Danish Bonus turbines.
