NOZEMA AIR WAVES SETTLEMENT

The wind business has settled its dispute with Nozema, the organisation responsible for broadcasting infrastructure. Nozema had threatened to formally object to every proposal for a wind plant in protest against regulations it disagreed with to prevent distortion of radio and TV broadcasts. According to this regulation, distortion can occur around a wind turbine within a radius of 1500 metres. Nozema contends the distortion area can be much larger, up to six kilometres. The new agreement allows Nozema to be involved in every project proposal.
