Before the year 2003, about 3000 small "household" wind turbines, with a combined installed capacity of 40-50 MW, should be installed in Denmark. With this aim, the Danish energy ministry's committee on small wind turbines has sent its report for consideration by the energy agency. The report identifies the market potential in Denmark for wind turbines of 4-25 kW with a maximum height of 25 metres. The committee recommends government support for the technical development of machines in this size range.
