Seventeen 300 kW wind turbines from WindMaster of Belgium have been selected by E F Energy Ltd of Belfast, Northern Ireland, for its 5 MW wind plant to be installed on Owenreagh mountain near Strabane. The project was one of six selected for power purchase contracts under the first round of Non Fossil Fuel Obligation (NFFO) legislation for Northern Ireland (“uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç, May 1994). According to WindMaster, the kilowatt hour price bid by E.F. Energy into the NI NFFO was the lowest.
