Gamesa sells its first Made turbines

Spanish turbine manufacturer Made Tecnologías has clinched its first deal since former owner, utility Endesa, sold it to Gamesa in June. The turnkey plant contract includes the supply of six Made 1.32 MW machines for the Collet de Feixos project in the Baix Camp area of Tarragona province. It belongs to Esbrug, a small local and independent developer. Esbrug already operates two of the same Made turbines in its neighbouring Mas de Potra plant. Gamesa praises the Made turbine -- a competitor before June's take-over -- for its "great robustness and profitability."
