Texas utility Central and South West Corp Dallas was awarded an environmental excellence award by the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission in May. The company operates a 12-turbine wind plant near Fort Davis, which consists of Zond turbines, as part of its Renewable Energy Project, begun in 1993.
