TURBINE 500 FROM LAGERWEY
The five hundredth wind turbine from Dutch owned Lagerwey was commissioned at the end of June at Gut Neu-Hemmerich near Frechen in North Rhine Westfalia. The 80 kW unit is machine number 290 of the LW18 model, a successor to the L15/50 kW of which 160 were built. All but one of these are still operating, says Heinrich Bartelt of Wistra, Ibbenbüren, Lagerwey's German agent. Turbine 500 was built by the Dutch company's Pritzwalk division in east German Brandenburg.
