In Nebraska, a coalition of environmental, consumer and farm groups is calling for a 25 MW wind farm to start generating power by 1995. The ultimate goal of the Sustainable Energy and Economic Development (SEED) campaign is to shift 25% of the state's energy mix from coal and nuclear to wind and biomass over the next 16 years.
