HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES
New health and safety guidelines specifically for the wind industry have just been published. The British Wind Energy Association drew up the guidance in consultation with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). Its aim is to establish a standard for health and safety in the industry. David Left of the HSE welcomes the initiative. "These guidelines provide useful health and safety advice in a structured way for anyone involved in the industry," he says.
