Capacitor manufacturer AEG Kondensatoren und Wandler is sufficiently impressed by the growth of the wind market to concentrate its efforts on cornering the condenser market for wind energy systems. It has chosen to make wind energy its primary theme at this month's Hannover Trade Fair. With the assistance of a working model, the company is demonstrating its MKK (metallised plastic film) power capacitors when used for reactive power correction units in wind powered systems.
