Danish aid to be used for wind development and training in three regions

Planning and development of wind power capacity and training in operations and maintenance of wind turbines over the next three years is the purpose of a EUR 6 million donation from the Danish state to China. The money, according to the Danish foreign ministry, will be used in China's three windy north-eastern provinces, Heilongjiang, Liaoning and Jilin. All three regions have a relatively strong grid network. The agreement was signed by the Chinese minister of commerce, Yi Xiaozhun, and Denmark's ambassador to China, Laurids Mikaelsen.
