Plans submitted for 120 MW in southern Victoria
Plans for a 120 MW wind farm of 60, 2 MW turbines at Mount Mercer, in the south western part of Victoria have been submitted to the state government for approval. The developer is WestWind Energy, the Australia subsidiary of Germany's WestWind Group. If approved, the wind farm will link into the grid at Ballarat.
