Fuhrländer starts 2.5 MW production in China
Production of Fuhrländer's 2.5 MW machines in China will start this summer from a new factory the German firm is building with its licence partner, Liaoning GaoKe Energy Group, part of Chinese company A-Power Energy Generation Systems. The factory, to initially produce 240 turbines a year, is being built in Shenyang in the province of Liaoning in eastern China. At the same time, Fuhrländer is building its first factory for production of the 2.5 MW machines in Germany, at the Siegerland airport site near company headquarters in Waigandshain. It says the 5000 square metre production hall will allow assembly of 15 machines at a time.
