Lagerwey at Pritzwalk expands
The east German division of Dutch turbine manufacturer Lagerwey, at Pritzwalk in Brandenburg, is being expanded, says Thomas Ufermann of Lagerwey's German agent, Wistra. It will now cover the whole of the country, even extending into Poland. Meantime, turbine production at Pritzwalk is winding down. Only small machines have been built there and demand for these is dwindling. Lagerwey's new 750 kW machine, due to be introduced to the German market in the autumn, "will be assembled at the site of installation so no intermediate assembly works will be required," says Ufermann.
