Kenetech will be financing two projects in southern California

Kenetech “uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç has announced financing for two projects, costing a total of $82 million in capital, in southern California and Minnesota. The California project, in Palm Springs, consists of 39 MW of existing projects -- which will be re-powered with 115, 33M-VS machines -- and of power contracts with Southern California Edison. The project will be operational this spring. The 25 MW Minnesota project, on Buffalo Ridge, will supply Northern States Power of Minneapolis and will be operational in March.
