Inland test station inaugurated
The first test station for wind turbines at an inland site in Germany, Windtest Grevenbroich, was inaugurated on June 25 at a site close to giant lignite open cast mines operated by Rheinbraun. Space is available for eight turbines of 600 kW as well as further small machines. The first turbine will be installed this year.
