The wind industry's spotlight -- and our news stories -- focus on Germany this month as companies gather for the annual Husum exhibition, one of the busiest trading events of the wind energy calendar. According to the latest sales statistics from Danish turbine manufacturers, Germany remains one of its top customers, though Denmark and China were even better recently. Never before has the Danish wind industry sold so many turbines in a one year period. Growth is such, that in Germany a third wind turbine test station has been opened (right).
