BUSINESS AS USUAL AT NEW WORLD POWER

It is business as usual at New World Power Company despite the upheavals of its parent company in the US and the departure of two key personnel from the London based office. So claims Chris Glen who is holding the helm after Kevin Jenden, former President of New World Power Company -- overseas arm of New World Power of Connecticut, left the firm along with contract manager Doreen Walker. Glen maintains he is continuing to progress wind energy projects in Europe as usual. He is expecting to start construction of a 7.5 MW wind farm near Carcassonne in the south of France before the end of the year. New World is also involved with two wind farm projects in Ireland and is negotiating to take over a small scheme in the north of England. According to industry rumours, Jenden and Walker are now to form a new UK based development wing of WindMaster Nederland.
