California agency to open door in India for wind companies from home

California's Trade and Commerce Agency is to set up an office in Delhi as a first step to opening the door to the Indian power market for California wind companies, says program manager Jim Miwa. He says the office will open within six months. "There are 8000 wind turbines in our state and we can share our technology,'' says Miwa. Other areas of potential technical co-operation are renewable energy and alternative fuel for transport and solar PV, he says.
