PATENT LAWSUIT DELAYED

The first court date in Kenetech's patent infringement lawsuit against German wind turbine manufacturer Enercon and rival American wind developer New World Power Corp has been postponed until January. The hearing was to have been held on November 17. In the lawsuit, Kenetech alleges it owns variable-speed technology in the US and that its patent is being infringed by Enercon's E40 turbine (“uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç, March 1995). The suit was filed in federal court, the US District Court, in San Jose.
