Regional representatives take Intervent wind energy tour in Germany
About 40 representatives from two regions in northern France went on a wind energy tour in Germany in February. The tour was hosted by Paris company Intervent, the French subsidiary of Germany's Das Grüne Emissionshaus, a wind project financing company based in Freiburg. The visitors were from Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Picardie regions where Intervent has ten large wind energy projects currently under development. The group visited the Enercon turbine works in Aurich as well as two wind farms. "We think it is very important to involve municipalities, public groups and authorities in our plans as early as possible," says Intervent's Jörn Schinzler.
