Hydrogen myths and wind realities
Hydrogen is an expensive route to meeting energy demand and only as clean as the source it is produced from. To be sustainable, scooters, cars and buses that run on hydrogen are entirely dependent on cheap supplies of renewable energy (read: wind power) as are fuel cells. The growth of wind, contrary to government claims on both sides of the Atlantic, is not at all dependent on hydrogen
