German turbine maker Enercon and energy major RWE have entered a long-term partnership to jointly realise onshore wind projects in Europe.
The companies signed the memorandum of understanding at WindEurope’s annual event conference in Copenhagen.
The multi-year agreement covers collaboration on projects in most of RWE’s core European markets.
Enercon will be responsible for the supply, installation and servicing of the wind turbines for the projects.
The companies have declined to share further details about the capacity of the projects covered by the agreement, and when and where they will be built.
