Wind power developer Mainstream Renewable Power has appointed Morten Henriksen as group CEO, effective from 1 April.
Henriksen comes to the role from Norwegian carbon capture company Gassnova, where he was CEO. He has also held executive roles at Arendals Fossekompani and Statkraft, along with multiple board positions.
The leadership change comes as the Aker Horizons-owned Mainstream begins to focus on projects in South Africa, Australia and the Philippines.
The company is also moving its headquarter to Oslo, Norway from its current base in Dublin, Ireland, as part of a cost-saving drive.
Outgoing CEO Mary Quaney will remain as senior adviser during the transition before stepping down in the second half of 2025.
