Technology giant Google has signed a deal to buy power from a 250MW portion of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and Vattenfall's 2GW Zeevonk offshore wind farm in the Dutch North Sea.
Google will use the output to help power its Dutch operations under a 15-year power purchase agreement.
The Zeevonk project also consists of a 50MW floating offshore solar array and a green hydrogen project.
It is located approximately 62km off the Dutch coast, and is expected to be fully operational by 2029.
