Regulator approves offshore wind links within UK and to Europe
The UK is forging ahead on subsea link development to connect offshore wind farms. In November, energy regulator Ofgem announced a £2 billion (€2.4 billion) funding package to build a proposed 196km subsea and underground cable between Scotland and the north of England.
