Tilt Renewables has completed turbine installation at its 396MW Rye Park project in south-east Australia.
The development comprises 66 of Vestas’ V162-6.2 MW turbines, each of which will operate at 6MW. It is located in the south-east of New South Wales.
Testing and commissioning is well underway, with the wind farm set to begin operations by the middle of 2024.
Its projected annual output is 1,188GWh, with power purchase agreements in place with gold mining company Newcrest Mining and utility AGL Energy.
