Nordex is due to supply utility RWE with 120 wind turbines with a combined capacity of 800MW for use in European markets.
It will primarily provide its N163 turbines with power ratings of up to 6.8MW under the two-and-a-half year deal, and will also offer its N175 model up to 6.8MW and N149 model up to 5.9MW.
Nordex will also service the turbines under a multi-year agreement.
The German companies signed the deal on the sidelines of the WindEurope 2024 conference in Bilbao.
RWE aims to have 14GW of global onshore wind capacity installed on a pro-rata basis by 2030, up from 8.6GW currently.
