Exus North America has purchased 306MW of operating wind farms in Pennsylvania.
The asset manager acquired three wind farms – Highland North, Twin Ridges and Patton – with a total installed capacity of 244MW from energy and commodity trader Vitol.
Exus also bought the 62MW Cambria wind project from Oppidum Green Energy.
Three of the projects will be repowered by 2027, said Exus. One of those is Twin Ridges, according to “uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç Intelligence, the data arm of “uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç.
Exus did not respond to requests for comment on which will be the other two repowered projects.
The company is owned by Spanish asset management and development firm Exus Management Partners.
