UK renewables firm Octopus Energy is investing in German renewables developer Lintas Green Energy and is set to acquire a 50% stake.
The investment will be made through Octopus's Sky fund, which is aiming to raise £3 billion (around €3.5 billion) for new renewables investment by 2025.
The value of the deal was not disclosed, but the investment will aid the development of new wind and solar capacity, with a target of 1GW by 2030.
Octopus said it was raising its renewables activity in Germany and plans to invest more than €1 billion in the country by 2027.
