Envision to supply turbines for wind farms in the Philippines

Chinese turbine maker Envision Energy has secured a turbine order to supply two wind farms in the Philippines.

It is due to supply turbines with power ratings of 6.5MW and 8MW to Altenergy’s 64MW Alabat and 100MW Tanay wind farms on Luzon, the Philippines’ largest island.

Envision will also service the turbines for ten years after the projects have been commissioned.

Altenergy has secured most of the permitting approvals needed to start construction, and aims to begin construction in the first quarter of this year.

It expects both projects to be operational by the end of 2025.
