Norwegian utility Eviny has agreed to buy a 365MW portfolio of operational wind farms from investment giant BlackRock in a deal worth €537.5 million.
It is due to buy the 197MW Guleslettene wind farm and the 168MW Tellenes wind farm – both of which are in western Norway.
Guleslettene is located in Bremanger and Kinn and was commissioned in 2021, while Tellenes is located in Lund and Sokndal and was commissioned in 2017.
The sale is subject to approval from Norwegian competition authorities and is expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2024.
