The Lower Austrian state government has approved the expansion of the Loidesthal wind farm.
ImWind’s 73MW Loidesthal II will comprise 11 turbines, with initial construction preparations currently planned for the end of the second quarter of 2024. Commissioning is scheduled for the end of 2025.
ImWind’s CEO, Georg Waldner, said: “Lower Austria is playing a pioneering role in the expansion of renewable energies and is aware of its wind power potential. We are very pleased to be able to hold in our hands the largest wind power permit in ImWind's recent history, the Loidesthal II wind farm”.
