Vestas has received a firm order from Ilmatar, for 30 V162-6.2 MW turbines for the Pahkakoski project in northern Finland.
The order comprises supply, delivery and commissioning, alongside a 30-year service agreement. Delivery is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2024, with commissioning following in Q2 2025.
Over ten years, Vestas and Ilmater have secured agreements relating to more than 150 turbines.
Ilmatar acquired the rights to Pahkakoski from Alterric earlier this year. It is under development at a site in Ii, 60km from Oulu.
