Ilmatar has decided to go ahead with the construction of the 38.4MW onshore Korpilevonmäki wind farm, at the project site near Säkylä in Finland.
The construction-start decision follows the signing of a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Mondelēz International.
Korpilevonmäki will comprise six Vestas turbines, with construction work set to start immediately and commercial operations due to commence in early 2026. Its annual output is estimated at 125 GWh.
Having acquired the project rights in 2021, the wind farm will remain in Ilmatar’s ownership throughout its lifecycle.
