Ørsted halts Gigastack green hydrogen project powered by Hornsea 2 offshore wind farm

The Gigastack project, a joint venture between Ørsted and US oil refiner Phillips 66, has been ‘paused’, and withdrawn from negotiations with the UK government as part of a funding round for hydrogen electrolysers that is due to sign contracts by the end of 2023.
