Swedish developer Eolus Vind has launched a strategic review of its 10GW offshore wind pipeline in order to create the best conditions for securing permits and delivering projects.
It is considering taking on a strategic partner with “competence and resources that can contribute to accelerating development and delivering the projects”, the developer stated.
As of 31 March, Eolus was developing nine projects in Sweden, Finland and the Baltic states with a combined capacity of about 10GW.
CEO Per Witalisson said: “We want to do everything we can to increase the possibility of success for our sea-based projects. Part of this is to ensure that in all areas we have the necessary resources and can maintain a high pace in the development process.”
