Envision Energy has secured a deal to supply its 6.5MW onshore wind turbines to UAE-based developer AMEA Power’s 500MW Amunet wind farm in Egypt.
The Chinese manufacturer will supply its EN 171-6.5MW turbines for the project, which is due to be commissioned by mid-2025.
Egypt aims to source 42% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2035.
