German developer VSB announces new CEO

German multinational developer VSB has announced a new CEO as it aims to continue growing its onshore wind portfolio.

Felix Grolman succeeds Frédéric Lanoë, who has been at the helm of the company for two years. 

VSB said on making the announcement that the company continues to be “more and more international” and described Grolman as a “visionary in the industry”.

The developer has an installed capacity of 659MW across 45 wind farms, most of which are in Europe, according to “uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç Intelligence, the data and research division of “uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç.

Grolman, 44, was recently employed as an executive board member of Swiss energy company Energie 360°.

“My vision for the VSB Group is to radically transform the European energy landscape and lead the renewable energy sector to unprecedented success,” Grolman said of his appointment.

He will officially take up the role on July 1.
