Developer PNE has commissioned nearly 40MW of onshore wind capacity in Germany and received the green light for a further 80MW, while manufacturer Nordex has secured a deal to supply a 45MW project.
PNE has announced that it commissioned two further wind farms in Lower Saxony towards the end of 2022: the 32.4MW Groß Oesingen and the 6.9MW Adensen projects.
It also received approval for a 55.8MW project in Papenrode, Lower Saxony and a 25.2MW project in Bokel, Schleswig-Holstein.
Meanwhile, Nordex has announced that it received an order at the end of 2022, for ten of its N149/4.X turbines for a 45MW project in North-Rhine Westphalia. Commissioning is due to begin in autumn 2023, after which Nordex will also provide service for 20 years.
