Blade manufacturer TPI Composites has extended its deal to supply turbine maker GE Renewable Energy through to the end of 2025.
It may also add more production lines for GE in 2023, in addition to the nine production lines GE already has with TPI.
The partners will also collaborate on “next generation blade designs”, under the terms of their new agreement.
TPI has manufactured blades for GE since 2008. Late last year, the companies signed a supply deal enabling TPI to reopen its factory in Iowa to serve GE.
