Nordex has received orders from wind farm operator Aspiravi for the supply of 12 turbines across four onshore Belgian wind farms with a total capacity of 43.2MW.
The wind farms are mainly located in the Wallonia region of southern Belgium: Saint Ode, with five N131/3600 turbines with a capacity of 18MW; Fernelmont, with two N117/3600 turbines with a capacity of 7.2MW and Perwez, also with two N117/3600 turbines with a capacity of 7.2MW.
Meanwhile, in Flanders, Nordex will supply one N131/3600 and two N117/3600 turbines for the 10.8MW Ninove - Denderleeuw - Aalst wind farm.
The orders include a 20-year premium service contract.
Delivery and installation work is due to start in the summer of 2023 and the first turbine in the four wind farms is expected to begin operation at the end of that year.
