Siemens Gamesa has announced that it received an order in the April-June 2022 quarter, for 15 of its SG 5.0-145 turbines for South Korea’s third largest wind farm, the 75MW Gunwi project.
It is being developed by SK D&D, at a site in Gunwi-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do province in central South Korea.
Project commissioning is expected in 2024, after which Siemens Gamesa will also provide operations and maintenance services for 20 years.
