Nordex has received an order to supply 11 of its N149/5.X turbines to a 63MW wind farm in the north-west of Poland.
It is due to supply the 5.7MW turbines to the 63MW Wysoka wind farm and also service them for 30 years.
The turbines will come with tubular steel towers and hub heights of 125 metres
The deal marks Nordex’s first Polish order for its N149/5.X turbine.
OX2 is developing the project for owner the Ingka Group, the parent company of retail giant Ikea.
Installation is due to start in mid-2023 ahead of project commissioning in 2024.
