GE Energy Financial Services has bought into a 148.5MW onshore wind farm in western India.
It has acquired a 49% stake in Continuum Green Energy’s Morjar wind farm in Gujarat.
The project is due to feature 55 of GE Renewable Energy’s 2.7-132 onshore turbines
It is expected to reach full operations in June 2022.
Continuum Green Energy – which is owned by a global infrastructure fund managed by Morgan Stanley Infrastructure – will retain a 51% majority stake in the wind farm.
