Siemens Gamesa is due to supply 20 turbines to its first wind farm in Serbia.
It will supply state utility EPS with 20 of its SG 3.3-132 turbines with a rated power of up to 3.65MW for the Kostolac wind farm.
The wind farm will be sited on former coal mining land in the east of the country.
It is EPS’ first wind farm as the utility expands its resources beyond coal, thermal and hydro.
Construction is ready to start and Siemens Gamesa plans to install all turbines by 2024.
It is due to provide turnkey construction of the wind farm, including civil and electrical balance of plant works.
