Ørsted has committed to building the 201MW Sunflower wind farm in Kansas.
Its board of directors has taken the final investment decision for the project in Marion county.
The Danish developer expects to begin commercial operations of the wind farm in the second half of 2023.
It plans to use 76 of GE's 2.82MW turbines at the project.
